Insight Global is seeking a Sr. Software Engineering team at one of our largest federal clients. This person will need to be able to generate strong code, build out the app/product, and have knowledge as to how the app/product should be deployed. This person will be engaging in Agile/Scrum, stack code analysis, constant unite tests and penetration tests. Every time a dev commits a line of code to a repository it is tested. This person is going to be introduced to some things they’ve never used, which will simply become a part of their job. There is a lot of paired programming on this team and within this division. That is how they do their training and knowledge exchange. The core of the team is TDD (test driven development) apart from when it doesn't make sense to do it. The capacity for Full-Stack development is crucial as they do not have the team size/luxury to specialize in one or the other.


REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM or a related field

• Ability to obtain a Clearance

• 4yr+ Software Engineering

• 4yr+ of current/recent experience with the following:

  • C# (Bonus if they write their scripts in Unity)
  • JavaScript
  • ReactJS o Docker or Kubernetes
  • Python
  • Current experience with containerized deployments.
  • Understand a good vs bad container.
  • Needs to be an exceptionally strong coder.
  • Prefers to work in an Agile Scrum Methodology.
  • Experience with Pair Programming
  • Engaged in Test Driven Development


NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience with ARC GIS

• Experience with Microservice Infrastructure

• Experience with AWS

• Experience with Platform One “Big Bang”
