Revenue Cycle Analyst
Valencia, CA- 100% onsite
Direct Hire
$35- $40 an hour
Looking for a Revenue Cycle Analyst with a focus on analyzing and improving the medical claims billing process. The main responsibilities involve data analysis, collaboration with various teams, and the resolution of payer rejections and denials. Key qualifications include experience in finance, claims management, or medical billing, as well as strong analytical and communication skills. Key responsibilities

  1. Data Analysis & Reporting:
    • Create advanced Excel reports/models to track reimbursement trends.
    • Extract data using AS400, SQL, and Power BI for analysis.
    • Conduct trend and comparative analyses to tackle revenue cycle challenges.
  2. Problem Solving & Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes and solve billing issues.
    • Build relationships with third-party payers to resolve billing issues.
    • Quantify the impact of new insurance contracts and billing changes.
  3. Project Management & Efficiency:
    • Prioritize projects and manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines.
    • Evaluate and enhance department processes for efficiency and accuracy.
    • Possibly supervise a team of billing specialists, focusing on financial outcomes.
  4. Communication & Reporting:
    • Present findings in a clear, impactful manner to management.
    • Prepare various ad-hoc reports and analyses.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business/Finance or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in finance, claims management, or medical billing.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with medical insurance payer guidelines is a plus.

This role requires a proactive approach to solving billing issues, managing accounts receivable, and improving overall financial outcomes for the organization.
