For more information about Modine, visit www.modine.com.Position DescriptionThe Material Inventory Specialist is responsible for:Inventory Accuracy & ControlPerform regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions.Investigate and resolve inventory variances.Monitor stock levels and reorder points to prevent shortages or overstock.System ManagementUse ERP or inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Plex) to track inventory.Enter and update inventory data in real-time.Generate reports for inventory status, usage trends, and forecasting.Collaboration & CommunicationCoordinate with production, purchasing, and logistics teams to ensure material availability.Communicate inventory issues or delays to relevant departments.Support audits and compliance efforts.Process ImprovementIdentify inefficiencies in inventory processes and suggest improvements.Support lean manufacturing initiatives and 5S practices.Participate in continuous improvement projects.Safety & ComplianceFollow safety protocols when handling materials.Ensure hazardous materials are stored and documented properly.Comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.Required Education & QualificationsSkills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED EquivalentStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.Familiarity with inventory software (SAP or similar ERP) and barcode systems.Ability to work independently and in a team.Basic math and analytical skills.Physical ability to lift and move materials as needed.Modine is an equal opportunity employer.
