Responsibilities

As a Snowflake, Snap Logic Architect/Developer at Mastek, you'll lead the design and development of database solutions leveraging cloud tools and technologies. This includes install and configuration, performance tuning, modeling, prototyping database designs and ETL/ELT solutions. You will also work closely with the Principal, Cloud and Platform Architects, as well as the Technical Delivery Lead.

The Expertise You Bring

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technology related field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, etc.)
  • 7+ years of experience in designing and developing data warehouse and data lake ETL/ELT pipelines is required
  • 3+ years of experience with Cloud technologies (AWS, AZURE or Snowflake)
  • 3+ years of experience with data transformation tools and services. (SnapLogic [required], Informatica, AWS Glue, Talend, Matillion, Stitch, DBT, etc.)
  • 3+ years of SQL scripting experience and excellent understanding of SQL joins, ranks, nested queries, complex CDC logic etc.
  • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipeline technologies (GitHub, etc.)
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban)

The Skills You Bring

  • Experience writing technical design documents, and documenting implementation plans
  • Advanced SQL knowledge - required
  • Ability to perform data analysis on legacy systems such as: Teradata, SQL Server, MongoDB, Oracle etc.
  • Expertise in data modeling concepts such as dimensional modeling, Data Vault modeling, Normalized/Denormalized architectures etc.
  • Strong Interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation, communication, and negotiation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially within the IT community.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
