Account ManagerJob RequirementsAs the Account Manager, you will help with direct account management for the Menards side of the business at The Pittsburgh Paints Company. You will assist with current and long-term sales growth plans and financial management (P&L) of the account along with the daily interaction with the customer (external and internal), category management, marketing, supply chain, field sales, and customer service. You will work within a hybrid/remote role that requires travel as necessary to the customer. This position is best supported by residing in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Must live near Eau Claire, Wisconsin or have the ability to relocate to the area. You will report to the Director of Menards Business.Key ResponsibilitiesYou will work with all levels of the customer (including Merchandising, Supply Chain, Planning, Marketing) to further improve the success of the team. You will support the Menards business by interacting with Home Centers and having knowledge of Paint, Stain, Adhesives, and more. Develop and implement category sales strategy through the line review process, including regional sales opportunities. Lead activities and performance reviews for sales analysts and act as the main contact for our Senior Buyer. Analyze product and productivity performance. Promote monthly account planning and forecasting. Collect and process competitor data to grow the account.QualificationsBachelors Degree in Business Management or similar. 5+ years of account management or sales experience. Previous experience in a customer-facing environment delivering on direct sales. Project management skills with a background in business analytics and digital literacy. Experience with Marketing (preferably retail/consumer).
