We are currently seeking a Radiation Therapist to:
- Ensure all therapy treatments are delivered accurately.
- Review charts weekly for accurate documentation.
- Competence to assess the competency of others.
- Ability to monitor productivity, and communicate such to the Radiation
- Therapist (Level II) and/or the Supervisor of Radiation.
- Knowledge and ability to instruct and advise Staff Therapist by providing
- technical expertise for new or difficult procedures.
- Orientate, and provide in-service training for new employees.
- Communicate effectively with lesser-experienced therapists on
- appropriate patient care, documentation, and work ethics.
- Maintain department supplies.
We require:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Graduate of American Management Association (AMA) approved Radiation Therapy Technology program
- New York State Radiologic Technologist license
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
- 2 Years of clinical experience preferred
