About Us:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Generalist to join our team at our Corporate headquarters in Costa Mesa. As the sole member of the HR department, this role offers a unique opportunity for a task-oriented professional to manage all HR functions, working directly with the VP of Operations, COO and core support staff. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in hiring, onboarding, termination, benefits administration, and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.


Responsibilities:

Recruitment:

  • Oversee the full cycle of recruitment efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, and selection processes. Work closely with staffing partners for recruitment support.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.


Onboarding and Termination:

  • Develop and oversee new hire orientation and onboarding processes to ensure a smooth integration into the company.
  • Manage employee termination processes with sensitivity and adherence to company procedures.


Payroll and Benefits:

  • Assist with payroll and benefits administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance with California labor laws.
  • Address employee inquiries related to payroll and benefits.


Policy Adherence and Compliance:

  • Ensure strict compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Stay informed about updates in California labor laws and implement necessary changes.


Relationship Building:

  • Build strong relationships with company managers to understand and address their human resource needs.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the VP of Operations and COO on HR-related matters.


Qualifications:

  • Needs to have a background working in HR at an established Hospital or Medical Facility with at least 15+ doctors
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally at all levels.
  • Knowledge of benefits administration and a solid understanding of California labor laws.
  • Task-oriented individual willing to take on projects and tasks assigned by the COO and VP of Operations.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
