This role involves collaborating with business operating groups, IT, and clients to plan, schedule, and monitor projects, ensuring successful business solutions are implemented on time, high efficiency, and with high customer satisfaction. The Strategic Initiatives Program Manager must maintain processes and documentation to guarantee the success of implementation projects.You will:Project Oversight and Implementation: Manage Special Initiatives by leading implementation efforts, identifying risks, monitoring ongoing projects, and escalating those that are behind schedule or off track.Accountability: Oversee programs and projects from the Strategy and Business Operations Portfolio.Project and Program Management: Directly manage projects, as needed, and Oversee programs with project managers assigned to individual projects.Collaboration: Work with Datavant business and IT groups, as well as external vendors, to ensure the successful implementation of multiple concurrent projects.Quality Assurance: Ensure Operational Teams follow selected methodologies and produce quality deliverables.Customer Partnership: Collaborate with engineering, product, operations and new customers to provide services and implement products that enhance customer retention, loyalty, self-sufficiency, and profitability.Issue Resolution: Identify, resolve, or escalate project and/or program issues and assist Datavant management in managing overall project risks.Communication: Conduct daily/weekly recurring meetings internally and externally, as needed, to keep key stakeholders informed about program/project statuses, changes, and timelines.Post-Implementation Support: Assist stakeholders with post-go-live issues for defined time periods and escalate as necessary.What you will bring to the table:Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience in a healthcare setting.Experience: Minimum of 5 years in customer service, service delivery, and project management, with the ability to manage multiple projects/programs concurrently.Skills:Proficiency in process development and problem-solving.Comprehensive understanding of Health Information Management in acute care, ambulatory, and clinic settings.Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, negotiation, and influence skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work with minimal supervision and complete projects.Experience in maintaining roadmaps and project portfolios.Strong presentation skills.Leadership, decision-making, planning, and team-building skills.Certifications: PMP Certification is highly preferred.Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including MS Project.We are committed to building a diverse team of Datavanters who are all responsible for stewarding a high-performance culture in which all Datavanters belong and thrive.
