Job TitleApplies deep knowledge of one or more engineering domains to influence clients and stakeholders for achieving strategic objectives of engineering projects and programs. Contributes technical expertise to the development of new products, working with cross-functional teams across engineering disciplines such as, but not limited to electrical, hardware, manufacturing, mechanical, process, and technology platforms and investigates technical roadblocks to help troubleshoot and drive results. Leads review with executives and department leads for large-scale programs, providing transparency into the health, risk, and financials of individual projects. Drives teams to the achievement of program level milestones and helps prioritize deliverables to meet strategic needs. This role requires a unique blend of technical depth in SoC design, program management excellence, and customer compliance management to ensure successful delivery of cutting-edge solutions while maintaining operational efficiency and profitability.Key Responsibilities:Lead end-to-end program management for custom silicon projects across AI, wireless, networking, and data center applicationsDevelop and maintain comprehensive project documentation including requirements, specifications, and design reviewsManage milestone timeline development, tracking, and delivery against customer commitmentsEnsure customer deliverables are compliant with expectationsCoordinate cross-functional teams including design, verification, physical implementation, and test engineeringCreate and implement meaningful KPIs and metrics for design team performance and project healthDevelop cost metrics for tracking and improving project unit cost and spendEstablish design efficiency benchmarks and drive continuous improvement initiativesMonitor and report on key performance indicators including schedule adherence, quality metrics, and resource utilizationEnsure adherence to customer-specific design standards, processes, and quality requirementsMaintain alignment with customer governance frameworks and regulatory requirementsDrive headcount discipline and resource efficiency metricsLeverage SoC design knowledge to assess technical risks and feasibilityUnderstand and communicate design constraints including power, performance, area, and thermal considerationsRequired Skills/Experience:Experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary engineering based programsExpertise in creating and driving KPI's, metrics, and performance dashboardPreferred Skills/Experience:Experience with custom silicon/ASIC development programsExperience in foundry, EDA, and IP ecosystemsExperience with risk management identification and mitigation strategyData-driven approach to decision makingQualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field10+ years of related experience in semiconductor or related technology industryStrong background in SoC design methodologies, flows, constraints, trade-off analysisJob Type:Experienced HireShift:Shift 1 (United States of America)Primary Location:US, Texas, AustinAdditional Locations:US, Arizona, Phoenix, US, California, Folsom, US, California, Santa Clara, US, Oregon, HillsboroBusiness Group:Intel makes possible the most amazing experiences of the future. Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $214,880.00-303,360.00 USD The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
