Marketing Communications Manager – Onsite Location: San Jose

Role Overview:


We're in search of a dynamic Marketing Communications Manager to join our onsite team. The ideal candidate will spearhead the development and execution of marketing communication strategies, promoting our client's products, leading a team, and bolstering our brand presence within the life science industry.


Key Duties:


  • Devise and execute integrated marketing communication plans to support product launches, promotions, and brand awareness campaigns.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and marketing, to ensure messaging and branding initiatives are aligned.
  • Lead and mentor a team of marketing communications professionals, offering guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to foster their professional development and maximize their contributions.
  • Craft compelling marketing collateral, such as brochures, product guides, whitepapers, and presentations, to bolster sales efforts and educate customers.
  • Manage various digital marketing channels, including website content, email campaigns, social media, and online advertising, to drive engagement and lead generation.
  • Coordinate participation in industry conferences, trade shows, and events to optimize exposure and networking opportunities.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer insights, and differentiation opportunities.
  • Oversee public relations activities, including press releases, media relations, and thought leadership initiatives, to enhance our company's reputation and visibility.
  • Measure and analyze the effectiveness of marketing communication efforts using metrics and KPIs, making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, and partners to ensure deliverables are on time and within budget.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to inform marketing strategies and maintain a competitive edge.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in marketing communications within the life science industry, preferably with knowledge of instruments and reagents.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content for diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including CMS, CRM, email marketing, and social media management.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent project management and organizational skills, capable of prioritizing and managing multiple initiatives concurrently.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in data analysis and reporting, familiar with tools such as Google Analytics and marketing automation software.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills, adept at collaborating effectively across functions and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous learning, eager to drive results and make an impact in a dynamic environment.
