Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as an Occupational Medicine Nurse located in Lubbock, TX. The Occupational Medicine Nurse will be responsible for providing healthcare services to patients in an occupational medicine setting and supporting the Administrator for various duties. The role will involve training support staff, Assisting the providers with physicals, conducting medical assessments including audiograms, pulmonary function tests, treating workplace injuries, going onsite to provide mobile services, administering vaccinations, and managing workers' compensation cases. The Occupational Medicine Nurse will collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals and work closely with employers to promote occupational health and safety.


Qualifications

  • Valid LVN or RN license and completion of an accredited nursing program
  • Experience in occupational health or related field
  • Knowledge of occupational medicine regulations and policies
  • Excellent clinical and assessment skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record systems
  • Certification in occupational health nursing (COHN) is a plus
  • Bilingual proficiency is a plus
