Overview

Responsibilities
  • Examine patients, compile medical data, and interpret diagnostic test results.
  • Administer or order diagnostic tests, such as x-rays, electrocardiograms, and laboratory tests.
  • Develop and implement patient management plans, record progress notes, and assist in providing continuity of care.
  • Provide excellent customer service, instruct and counsel patients, and manage time effectively.
  • Stay up-to-date with Continuing Medical Education and participate in quality assurance checks.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related health field from an accredited college or university.
  • Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
  • Passed the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (PANCE).
  • Current licensed physician assistant in the state where employed.
Job-Related Experience

Customarily has at least one year of demonstrated experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or an emergency setting.
