Responsibilities- Examine patients, compile medical data, and interpret diagnostic test results.
- Administer or order diagnostic tests, such as x-rays, electrocardiograms, and laboratory tests.
- Develop and implement patient management plans, record progress notes, and assist in providing continuity of care.
- Provide excellent customer service, instruct and counsel patients, and manage time effectively.
- Stay up-to-date with Continuing Medical Education and participate in quality assurance checks.
- Bachelor's degree in a related health field from an accredited college or university.
- Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
- Passed the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (PANCE).
- Current licensed physician assistant in the state where employed.
Customarily has at least one year of demonstrated experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or an emergency setting.
