Our visual merchandising is a crucial part of this experience, and we are seeking a talented individual to help us maintain and enhance the visual appeal of our spaces, ensuring that every detail contributes to the sense of wonder that defines our brand.


 Job Overview:


We are seeking a part-time Freelance Visual Merchandiser to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing and maintaining the visual standards of all Wonderlosity stores. This role is project-based and will involve conceptualizing and implementing new display designs, enhancing existing setups, and ensuring that each store reflects the unique Wonderlosity brand.


 Key Responsibilities:


- Design & Conceptualization: Develop and execute innovative visual merchandising strategies that align with Wonderlosity’s brand identity across all store locations.

- Display Standards: Create and maintain high visual standards, including window displays, in-store layouts, and product presentations.

- Store Inspections: Conduct periodic inspections via Zoom to ensure consistency in visual merchandising, identifying opportunities for improvement.

- Seasonal trips: Visit the stores on a seasonal basis

- Collaborative Development: Work closely with store managers, marketing, and operations teams to create cohesive and impactful visual merchandising strategies.

- New Concept Design: Assist in the development and execution of new visual concepts for product launches, promotions, and seasonal displays.


 Qualifications:


- Proven experience as a Visual Merchandiser, preferably in a retail environment focused on specialty or themed products.

- Strong creative and artistic skills with a keen eye for detail.

- Proficiency in visual merchandising software or relevant design tools.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with various teams.

- Ability to travel to multiple store locations as required.

- Familiarity with trends in Anime, Manga, Fantasy, and related genres is a plus.


 Compensation:


This is a part-time freelance/consulting position with an hourly rate, commensurate with experience. The role offers flexibility in working hours and location. While the role can be located anywhere, the freelancer will be asked to make seasonal visits to our stores.
