Job Summary

As a Merchandising Sales Associate at Tractor Supply Company, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our stores by providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a visually appealing store environment, and executing merchandising and inventory tasks with precision and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide legendary customer service by greeting customers, uncovering their needs, recommending products, and asking for the sale.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including visual merchandising standards, planograms, and inventory management.
  • Execute merchandising and inventory tasks, such as planogram resets, price changes, and physical inventories, with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Work collaboratively with the Field Activity Support Team (FAST) to achieve store goals and objectives.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • No prior experience required, but a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software applications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Working Conditions

Work in a retail store environment with moderate noise levels and varying temperatures. May be required to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to move and transfer merchandise, weighing up to 50 pounds, throughout the store.
  • Ability to push and pull merchandise up to 2,000 pounds with the assistance of proper material handling equipment.
  • Ability to occasionally lift or reach merchandise overhead.
  • Ability to frequently stand, kneel, twist, crouch, squat, bend, stoop, and climb ladders.
