Read further to learn how you could help make great things possible not only in your community, but around the world.In the role of Senior Communications Manager, we'll count on you to:Manage the development and execution of communications plans by collaborating with internal business partners, creative, marketing and communications teamsTake ownership of tactics and outcomes and measure their impactWork with engineers, architects, designers and other subject matter experts to develop and write white papers, feature article content, thought leadership articles, and social media postsGhost write and edit blogs, social media posts, papers and/or presentations by subject matter expertsDeliver employee training to activate and guide communicationsMonitor industry best practices and maintain a repository of trends and examplesSupport event management where requiredLead engagement activities related to area of specializationResearch and develop content for distinct tactics and target audiencesInform scope, schedule, and budget for communication activities pertinent to area of specializationBring genuine, creative ideas to the tableManage and develop multidiscipline teamsPerform other duties as necessaryWho You Are:You are a creative, forward thinker, comfortable working on multi-disciplinary teams and collaborating effectively with colleagues in both content and technical development.You can facilitate public meetings, stakeholder workgroups, or community focus groups to get to the heart of the matter, build consensus and uncover innovative solutions.You are a great writer, skilled at defining and articulating a message. You describe yourself as a storyteller.You are exceptionally organized, with an almost obsessive attention to detail, and highly driven with the ability to manage the scope, schedule, budget and implementation of several major projects at the same time and meet deadlines.You have a history of creating and implementing communications plans that included target audience strategies, marketing and advertising plans, event planning, and collateral material development and implementation.You have a demonstrated track record of successfully managing projects or tasks, including preparing and monitoring scope and budget, preparing and implementing schedule, and coordinating with team members to deliver successful projects.You are a highly creative person who understands the importance of clear communication across multiple channels and mediums from print to digital.You have a drive to innovate and a habit of thinking outside the box. You are a lifelong learner who embraces the new.You're a self-starter who thrives and adapts in fast-paced environments.Required Qualifications:A minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience, including management experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSelf-motivated and ability to work independent with multiple teams as well as team orientedDemonstrated leadership and organizational skillsGreat interpersonal and communication skills - positive outlook and attitudeHigh aptitude for managing and solving tactical issuesAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustComfortable and competent while working with senior leaders and managing cross-functional effortsDemonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environmentCommitted to quality, continuous improvement, and HDR valuesProficient in Adobe Creative Suite - InDesignProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteWhat We Believe HDR is our company. The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions.
