Night Auditor Hilton Virginia Beach OceanfrontPosition OverviewJob Title: Night AuditorLocation: 3001 Atlantic Ave, Virginia Beach, VA 23456Availability: Typically, 11pm 7am, shifts may vary, must be available weekends and holidaysWork Environment: Oceanfront hotel right on the boardwalkSummary: Night auditors perform end-of-day accounting tasks and overnight front desk duties. They assist late-night guests, process check-ins and check-outs, and address other customer requests. They also audit, reconcile, and balance daily financial activities.Job Functions:Performs all audit procedures as set forth by the hotel and company, daily.Performs and attributes all required audit reports.Verifies the status of all wake-up call requests and ensures they are properly handled.Balances all cash receipts and work performed during the audit shift.Prepares the front office for the 'A' shift and reset days business.Acts as a Guest Service representative during the nighttime hours.Acts as the manager on duty during the nighttime hours.Attends and actively participates in all front office meetings.Participates in all training and cross training programs.Acts as PBX operator during the audit shift.Setting up coffee areasPerforms other related duties as required.Takes the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.Reports to work for scheduled shifts, on time and in uniform in accordance with company policy.Knows and complies with all company policies and procedures pertaining to this position and its duties.QualificationsWe Live by Our "TOP" Values:T TEAM UP: Collaborate, support others, and stay goldenO OWN IT: Take pride, stay accountable, and never stop learningP PASSIONATELY SERVE: Be positive, show you care, and create memorable experiencesWe're looking for team players who embody these values every day.Qualifications:High school diploma, GED certificationBachelor's Degree, and/or equivalent experience in a hotel or related field preferredBasic reading, writing, and math skills1-2 years of hotel front desk or night auditor experience preferredBasic knowledge of accounting and the uses of excelCustomer Service Skills requiredFinancial management skills requiredBrand systems knowledge preferredWhy Work with Us?Competitive PayGo Hilton Travel Discounts for team members & eligible familyShamin Perks Save on gym memberships, movie tickets, amusement parks, rental cars, and more$200 Referral Bonus after your referral completes 30 daysWork with an oceanfront view in a fun, fast-paced restaurantNote: This may be a seasonal or part-time position.
