Head Of Investor RelationsGeneral Mills (GIS) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Investor Relations to lead its Investor Relations team. In this pivotal leadership role, you will be responsible for clearly communicating GIS's strategy, results, and shareholder proposition to both external and internal stakeholders. By helping shape GIS's financial messaging, fostering strong relationships with the investment community, and providing critical investor perspectives to GIS management, you will drive decisions that maximize shareholder value. This role reports to the Vice President, Investor Relations & Corporate Finance and will lead a team consisting of a Director, an Associate Manager, and an Analyst. This role will partner with the Vice President on key strategic initiatives and priority setting for the team and will be expected to fully lead the day-to-day Investor Relations activity.Primary Responsibilities:Develop and execute strategies for IR messaging, investor targeting, and investor outreachDevelop and maintain strong relationships with GIS senior management, business leads, and functional leadsBuild effective relationships with sell-side analysts and buy-side investors, responding to shareholder communication in a timely and accurate mannerCraft company messaging, in partnership with the broader IR team, for quarterly earnings, conferences, roadshows, and investor days, including press releases, presentations, scripted remarks, and question-and-answer materialsRepresent GIS in regular 1:1 engagement (meetings, calls, etc.) with institutional shareholders and targetsExecute non-deal roadshows and sell-side conferences with GIS senior managementPrepare regular reports to GIS board and senior management summarizing stock performance, GIS shareholdings, analyst estimates, investor sentiment, and market dynamicsRepresent IR, in partnership with GIS Legal and Global Impact teams, in engagement interactions with shareholder governance and proxy voting teamsLead and develop a team of three individuals and work seamlessly with other stakeholders across the Finance function and Segments. Requires travel to Investor meetings. Travel is approximately 25%.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree from an accredited university10+ years of experience in finance, including at least 7 years working across sell-side equity research roles, buy-side institutional investment roles, and/or investor relations roles at publicly traded companiesExceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience crafting communications for stakeholder audiencesOutstanding financial acumen, including understanding of markets, financial modeling, and valuation. Knowledgeable of SEC regulations and financial disclosure requirementsProven experience building and maintaining relationships with key external and internal stakeholdersStrong alignment with General Mills core values: doing the right thing all the time, winning together, continuously innovating, and championing belongingService oriented, intellectually curious, and passionate about delivering resultsPreferred Qualifications:MBA or other advanced degreeExperience within the Consumer Staples sectorCFA and/or Investor Relations Charter (IRC) certificationsCompany Overview:We exist to make food the world loves.
