Do you enjoy solving complex business problems, designing, and building software solutions in a collaborative, fast-paced, inclusive, and agile environment? We are seeking a Sr. Full Stack Developer to join the growing Bright Horizons engineering team.
If you are passionate about designing and building software that improves the user experience for our customers, we want to hear from you We are looking for a developer with the advanced skills needed to build a modern user-centric web application on a Microservices event driven architecture from vision to production-ready systems using cloud (Azure) technologies and DevOps practices.
This is an opportunity for you to deliver solutions using the latest architectural approaches such as microservices, containerization, cloud technologies, Angular and open-source frameworks and tools with continuous delivery and automation.

What you will be doing:
- Design system enhancements and business process changes geared to drive best practices that improve efficiency of staff, accuracy of results, and usefulness of data.
- Critically evaluate business requirements, providing alternative solutions where applicable.
- Work in conjunction with outside vendors in a shared development environment.
- Work with Application Support, QA, and development to support application issues, changes and modifications.
- Proactively identify ways in which system and process changes can improve efficiency of key users, customer service, accuracy of results, and/or completeness of data.
- Act as a change agent to help ensure that the newly implemented system/process enhance the success of the project and increase the project’s chance of meeting the business needs.
- Provide updates and feedback to manager on progress of development.
- Provide details to project manager and project team regarding updates, schedules and issues.
- Deliver engaging, informative, well-organized presentations that are effectively tailored to the intended audience.
- Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion.
What we hope you bring to the role:
- 7+ years of development experience in the Microsoft technology stack.
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in computer science or related field.
- Expert in back-end development using .NET core/ .NET, C#, Rest/GraphL Api, SQL Server.
- Expert in front-end development using Angular, HTML5, Typescript, JavaScript, Unit test framework
- Knowledge of Parallel programming Redis/Distributed cache, RabbitMQ.
- Experience using Azure PAAS and SAAS resources like Azure Service Bus, Key Vault, Azure Storage, App Insight, APIM, Azure App services
- Knowledge of AKS, Microservice Architecture and event driven architecture.
- Strong experience with building and maintaining a reusable component library.
- Knowledge of OAuth/OIDC, SAML, SSO.
- Experience with maintaining and improving an existing codebase, focusing on improving performance, scalability, and user experience.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinker.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with staff and business partners.
