Receiving Inventory Clerk
Pay: $17.00
Schedule: Monday-Friday from 7:00 AM- 3:30 PM (occasional OT).
Position Overview: A Receiving Inventory Clerk ensures the smooth and efficient flow of goods into our organization. They will receive and inspect incoming shipments, document inventory levels, and manage the storage of goods in our warehouse or storage facility.
Position Description:
• Receive incoming goods shipments and verify their accuracy against purchase orders and delivery documentation.
• Inspect the quality and condition of incoming products to identify any damages, defects, or discrepancies and promptly report them to the appropriate department.
• Accurately record all received items in the inventory management system, ensuring data integrity and up-to-date information.
• Organize and store received items in designated locations within the warehouse, maintaining a clean and organized storage environment.
• Assist in conducting regular physical inventory counts to reconcile stock levels and identify discrepancies.
Position Requirements:
• Must understand both receiving and locating processes
• Must have forklift experience (Will be driving 20-30% of the time).
• Proven experience as a Receiving Clerk, Warehouse Associate, or similar role, with a strong understanding of inventory management procedures.
• Familiarity with inventory management software and proficiency in using basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, spreadsheet applications).
