Heavy Equipment OperatorJoin a reputable, family-owned contractor with over 75 years in the utility construction industry. We are looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team and contribute to commercial construction projects in Colorado Springs. Responsibilities include operating heavy equipment including loaders and excavators, performing general labor tasks as needed, and safely operating equipment such as 624 Loaders and John Deere 470 Excavators. Work collaboratively with a unified crew handling both dirt and utility tasks. Minimum 3 years operating loaders and excavators combined, proficiency with heavy equipment operation in construction environments, and experience with brands like Hitachi, John Deere, Cat, and Komatsu are required. Family-owned business with a strong reputation and stability, opportunities for internal promotion, and long-term growth. Work with newer equipment in a collaborative team environment. Outdoor commercial construction projects. 40+ hours per week, starting around 6:30 AM (may vary by job). This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Colorado Springs, CO. The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr. This is a fully onsite position in Colorado Springs, CO.
