  • Software Development: Develop, test, and maintain software applications using C#.Net, SQL Server, Azure, and HTML.

  • Project Leadership: Lead multiple projects, acting as a subject matter expert and guiding teams to successful project completion.
  • Compliance and Standards: Follow State of Florida IT standards and processes, ensuring all systems are compliant.
  • Requirements Gathering: Gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Prototype Development: Design and develop prototypes to showcase potential solutions.
  • Documentation: Produce detailed documentation including standards, procedures, and project deliverables.
  • Code Reviews: Oversee and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality.
  • Daily Stand-ups: Actively participate in daily stand-up meetings to discuss progress and resolve any issues.


Key Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5 to 7 years of IT work experience.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficient with Microsoft C#.Net, MVC, JQuery, and Responsive Design.
  • Proficient with Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience with Oracle.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience with Visual Studio 2012 and later.
  • Experience using HTML.
  • Proficient with Test Driven Development and Unit Testing methodology.
  • Development Environments: Experience working in both Waterfall and Agile development environments.
  • Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills, capable of making independent decisions within their area of responsibility and expertise.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio.
  • Knowledge of PowerPoint and SharePoint.
  • Experience with Team Foundation Server.


Tasks and Deliverables:

  • Ensure compliance with DOS IT processes and standards.
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into Internet/Web architecture.
  • Ensure systems are fully compatible and integrated with current software and hardware.
  • Analyze specifications, plan, design, and develop solutions.
  • Develop System Design and Application Systems Deliverables.
  • Participate in code reviews and daily stand-ups.
  • Produce detailed accounting of hours worked on tasks.
  • Develop standards, procedures, and documentation.
  • Assist in day-to-day network functions.
  • Provide monthly timesheets detailing hours worked.
