Quality Control Technician, Bulk Syringe

The Quality Control Technician, Bulk Syringe has dual responsibility to support the Quality Line Reference Technicians regarding defect identification, and for data analysis and metrics collection of related QLR cosmetic and dimensional checks. Additionally, they are responsible for documentation review of batch records prior to quality control release of bulk material.



MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Assist and verify both cosmetic and dimensional results with front line quality line reference technicians.
  • Review documentation to verify technical accuracy of generated records.
  • Collect and trend data on both routine aspects of QLR role, as well as advanced metrics on both individual and group performance, including product performance.
  • Assist shift leaders in developing, enhancing, and monitoring training program for QLR technicians.
  • Plan and coordinate sorting activities, assisting with scheduling, prioritization, and documentation review.
  • Participate in inspections/audits by providing applicable information to fulfill requests of inspectors/customers with potential interactions to explain relevant data, documentation, and rationale.
  • Interacts regularly and effectively communicates with the key internal leaders and team as well as relevant stakeholders aimed at building level of awareness on quality vision supporting them in facing quality issues.


EDUCATION & REQUIREMENTS


  • 3 years minimum experience working in a quality control environment performing routine quality control tests
  • Experience working in a healthcare (medical device or pharmaceutical environment), aerospace, or another similar regulated environment.
  • Experience creating and maintaining graphs (MS Excel) and presentations (MS PowerPoint)
  • Strong Communication skills to varying audiences including ability to train technicians on complex technical topics and program specific quality standards
  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills
  • Ability to work 2nd shift or 3rd shift.
  • Ability to work weekends.
