At Cognizant Digital Engineering, a small multi-functional team comprised of a Product Manager, an Architect, Full-Stack Developers, UI/UX designers and Big Data analysts builds higher quality software faster siloed individuals working independently. The Role:

Cognizant is looking for an experienced and innovative Lead Java Full Stack Engineer to serve our diverse base of global clients. As a member of our team, you will build innovative, cloud-based software that powers modern business. An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a diverse, collaborative, geographically distributed team. Roles & responsabilities
  • Design and develop high-quality software solutions using Documaker, J2EE, Spring Boot, Advanced JavaScript, Core Java, and Java
  • Coordinate the integration of Java components to ensure seamless functionality and performance.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for Property & Casualty Insurance applications.
  • Develop and implement Java design patterns to enhance the scalability and maintainability of software solutions.
  • Ensure the application of advanced JavaScript techniques to improve user experience and application performance.
  • Lead and design solutions that demonstrate Core Java and Java 11 features for optimal performance.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high code quality standards.
  • Work closely with collaborators to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Required qualifications
  • Proven ability to design and implement scalable, maintainable, and secure software architectures.
  • Experience with design patterns, architectural styles
  • Strong command of Angular framework
  • Deep understanding of Java programming language, including core concepts, design patterns, and standard methodologies..
  • Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, etc.) for building robust Java applications.
