The role requires someone who can manage complex scheduling, ensure compliance, and deliver excellent patient support.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule patient appointments, ranging from single physician visits to multi-provider consultations, ensuring alignment with department protocols and guidelines.
  • Manage the scheduling of clinical trial procedures and treatment plan protocols, including creating patient-specific calendars and flow sheets.
  • Collect and verify necessary clinical information and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for patients, providing information on disease-specific programs and facilitating communication between patients, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Independently triage patient and provider calls, directing patient flow and resolving issues or escalating as needed.
  • Handle the preparation, opening, and closing of provider schedules, managing daily schedule adjustments and complexities associated with research protocols.
  • Participate in the training of new team members, sharing knowledge and best practices.
  • Assist with special billing and revenue processes, ensuring accurate and compliant scheduling.
  • Maintain clinical, operational, and regulatory knowledge related to patient care and research protocols.
  • Conduct slide submissions and other duties as required.


Qualifications:

  • A degree in Healthcare Administration, Health Policy, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within a healthcare setting.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
