Contracts ConsultantMitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. (MEPPI) is seeking a Contracts Consultant to provide contract interpretation and negotiation support for the Service Center Division (SCD).This position will report to the SCD Service Center of Excellence Manager and is a hybrid position in Warrendale, PA.What You'll Do:Provide contractual terms and conditions review support of Service Orders, Long Term Service Agreements (LTSAs), Master Service Agreements (MSAs), and Supplier Contracts for the Service Center Division.Provide contractual terms and conditions review support for Authorized Service Provider (ASP) Agreements.Perform risk analysis and provide suggestions to management to keep contracts within the Company Limits of Authority policy. Work with Corporate Contracts Manager and in-house Legal Counsel as required.Participate in direct negotiations with customers and suppliers when requested.Upon request, review Red Books, requisitions, and purchase orders on behalf of the General Manager.When required, provide contractual terms and conditions training for SCD, for both Service and Supplier Contracts.Further the goals and positive, professional image of the company through effective dealings with customers and other internal departments and divisions.What You'll Bring:Bachelor's degree in business or related discipline and a minimum of 5 years of experience working with commercial contracts for international equipment and services sales, or equivalent education and experience.Advanced knowledge of contract language and techniques for developing and interpreting contracts.Advanced consulting and negotiating skills for negotiating commercial terms and conditions with customers and suppliers.Advanced interpersonal, communication and presentation skills required to communicate with customers, employees, and vendors.Ability to work in a team environment and on several projects simultaneously.Advanced computer skills, with emphasis on MS Office products and experience with ERP and/or CRM systems.What's in It for You:Comprehensive Health Coverage: MEPPI pays up to 90% of the cost for medical, dental, and vision plans.Retirement Plans: 401(k) match of up to 4%.Generous Paid Time Off: Earn vacation after just 90 days, plus enjoy 12 paid holidays annually.Career Growth: Access to professional development programs and educational assistance.Employee Perks: On-site fitness center (Warrendale, PA), wellness program, profit sharing, and employee discounts.Why MEPPI:As a proud U.S. affiliate of Mitsubishi Electric, MEPPI powers critical infrastructure and rail transportation solutions across North America.
