Position Summary: Senior Power System Engineer for Microgrid Department

ETAP is seeking a Senior Power System Engineer with specialized expertise in modeling, control, and energy management of microgrids and inverter-based resources. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking developments in innovative projects focused on renewable energy systems, helping to shape the future of clean power integration. Our R&D group is at the forefront of developing cutting-edge applications, addressing challenging and complex issues in integrating renewable energy resources into microgrids and the broader grid. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Research, design, and develop advanced applications for microgrid systems.
  • Test and validate applications related to the design and modeling of microgrid systems.
  • Conduct studies on the integration of microgrids, renewable energy resources, and renewable power plants.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for renewable energy projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of ETAP's microgrid solutions into various projects.


Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience in modeling and analyzing microgrids and inverter-based resources.
  • Adept in power system control, energy management, dynamics, and optimization.
  • Experience in the operation and management of microgrids and renewable energy projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Basic programming knowledge (proficiency in C# preferred).


Education

MSc or PhD in Power System Engineering
