Midwest multidisciplined engineering firm is looking to add a Water Resources Manager to their team in Houston


Responsibilities:

  • Serve as team leader
  • Identify Water Resources opportunities and assist with development of expansion plan
  • Manage project scope schedule and budget
  • Lead the development of Hydrologic/Hydraulic models of municipal storm sewer/sanitary collection systems
  • Prepare Drainage Studies/Stormwater Masterplans analysis/design of municipal Stormwater facilities (open channels culverts storm sewers detention basins green infrastructure) and design of plans/specifications
  • Perform QC of stormwater models reports and/or design
  • Responsible for local state and federal permitting
  • Prepare proposals and participate in client interviews
  • Represent company at municipal meetings


Requirements:

  • B.S. degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on water resources engineering preferred
  • 8 years of experience in the design/management of Stormwater projects
  • Experience in Consulting Engineering Public Works or Construction
  • PE License
  • Basic principles of infrastructure design/plan preparation knowledge
  • Extensive knowledge of hydrology/hydraulics in the Houston area
  • Technical writing skills
  • Ability to travel through Houston area with own transportation


Salary is commensurate with experience.
