We are looking to recruit a Power BI and Azure Databricks Architect ideally in either Chicago or Dallas locations.


As a Power BI Architect with Azure Databricks experience, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing data analytics solutions. You will work closely with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into robust, scalable, and efficient Power BI solutions integrated with Azure Databricks.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Solution Design: Architect and design end-to-end data analytics solutions using Power BI and Azure Databricks.
  • Data Integration: Connect Power BI to Azure Databricks, ensuring seamless data integration and real-time analytics capabilities.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize the performance of Power BI reports and dashboards by leveraging the capabilities of Azure Databricks.
  • Consulting: Provide consulting services to clients, helping them understand and implement best practices for data analytics and business intelligence.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Training and Support: Train and support end-users and client teams in using Power BI and Azure Databricks effectively.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all solutions and processes.


  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in data analytics and business intelligence.
  • Proven experience working with Power BI and Azure Databricks.
  • Background in consulting, with a track record of delivering successful projects to clients.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and report/dashboard development.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure Databricks, including data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
  • Experience with Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Synapse Analytics, and other Azure data services.
  • Familiarity with SQL, Python, and other relevant programming languages.
