Compliance & Project SpecialistFounded in 2011, Amp Americas builds, manages, operates and maintains RNG production facilities that convert dairy waste into carbon-negative hydrogen, renewable transportation fuel and power. The vertically-integrated company leverages over a decade of unique expertise and specialized experience in carbon-negative fuel development, operations, services and marketing to deliver comprehensive, turn-key solutions that address greenhouse gas emissions and seek to improve air, land and water quality.The Compliance & Projects Specialist will focus on maintaining compliance for Amp's tax credit qualification programs and supporting special projects across back-office teams. The tax credit responsibilities include ensuring Amp meets prevailing wage requirements, researching wage determinations and managing third-party consultants to produce compliance reports. The special projects portion of the role will involve collaboration with the Accounting and HR teams to support business growth and organizational efficiency. This role reports to the Chief Accounting Officer.Research, track, and communicate prevailing wage and labor requirements across the organizationReview and analyze wage determinations to ensure compliance with contract terms and applicable regulationsCollect, audit, and maintain certified payroll records from contractors and subcontractorsDevelop and maintain compliance records and proceduresPrepare and deliver compliance reports, summaries, and recommendations to management and external stakeholdersCollaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams on special projects across Accounting, HR and OperationsSupport process improvement initiatives and identify opportunities for greater efficiency and risk mitigation46 years of professional experience in compliance, accounting, HR operations, or a related fieldBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related fieldStrong organizational skills and attention to detailProficiency with Microsoft ExcelExcellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skillsExperience with labor compliance, payroll, or prevailing wage regulations (preferred)Ability to work independently in a small company environment and collaborate across multiple teamsCompensation package commensurate with experienceComprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurancePaid time off and paid company holidaysOpportunity to build upon your career in a company on the cutting edge of the RNG industry
