Patient Care and Evaluation: Perform initial assessments and evaluations of patients, reviewing health survey data to develop comprehensive care plans. Quality and Safety: Implement interventions that uphold quality and excellence in surgical care. Maintain a sterile environment by adhering to established standards and protocols. Monitor patient safety throughout the procedure and during recovery, taking necessary precautions to ensure patient well-being.

Patient Communication and Support: Provide clear, written postoperative instructions and ensure patients have an effective communication system to contact the office or physician if needed. Assist patients with ambulation post-surgery to maintain safety and prevent falls.

Equipment Management: Operate and maintain the autoclave and other surgical equipment, ensuring all instruments are properly sterilized and ready for use.

Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the surgical team.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or GED.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a medical assistant or surgical technician, with a preference for experience in dermatology.
