Freelance E-commerce Coordinator

We are looking for a Freelance E-commerce Coordinator for a top fashion company in New York, New York. The E-Commerce Coordinator will assist the ecommerce team in both merchandising and marketing initiatives for our websites and marketplaces.

Responsibilities:


  • Work cross-functionally with the DTC team to oversee and optimize all merchandising and marketing initiatives for the websites and marketplaces
  • Monitor website to ensure that product is active online and appropriately displayed (image, copy, title, price, color, etc.) on a weekly basis
  • Work with the e-commerce team to resolve any photography/copy issues on a timely basis
  • Assist with weekly selling reports
  • Conduct regular quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy and consistency across all digital channels
  • Handle customer inquiries on digital sales platforms
  • Contribute to enhancing our visibility on digital sales channels
  • 3rd party vendor style set up as needed
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned
  • Efficiently manage product information in various systems and processes, ensuring data integrity and accessibility for teams
  • Cultivate skills in utilizing digital tools necessary for managing online marketplaces
  • Generate product descriptions independently or utilize AI tools to generate engaging content about our products in a standard format
  • Assist with samples used for all DTC businesses as well as creative shoots


Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s Degree; focus on digital merchandising or a related field
  • Data and logic-driven with strong analytical and project management skills required
  • Ability to work autonomously with strong attention to detail
  • Positive, can-do, problem-solving attitude with a demonstrated ability to be flexible and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Displays a sense of urgency; manages time efficiently and can meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong multi-tasker; flexible to changing priorities.
  • Proficient in Excel
  • 1-2 years’ experience a plus
