Residential Construction Project Manager/Estimator

Pay rate $25- $35 per hour depending on experience (DOE)

Job Description

The Residential Construction Project Manager/Estimator will oversee construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to schedules and budgets. This role involves managing contracts, subcontractors, and client relations while executing multiple projects simultaneously. The position requires a strong understanding of design-build projects and effective communication skills to maintain client relationships and ensure project success. The position will also be responsible to examine all cost elements of each phase of the project (including change orders) to make sure that bids give the company adequate margins. This is a growth position.

Responsibilities

  • Manage construction project safety, quality, schedule, and cost control.
  • Oversee contracts, subcontractors, suppliers, proposals, estimates, and documentation turnover.
  • Develop and manage client relationships, interfacing for proposal and project-related items.
  • Ensure compliance with contract terms for quality, schedule, estimating, and profitability.
  • Inspect work in progress to ensure adherence to specifications and construction schedules.
  • Coordinate with associated trades for efficient workflow and equipment coordination.
  • Provide training to construction coordinators and assistant project managers as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with design-build construction projects.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and scheduling software.
  • Excellent communication skills, including writing, speaking, and active listening.
  • Knowledge of job site safety requirements and construction equipment.
  • Strong organizational skills, including time management and multitasking.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
