Job Title: Enterprise Business Systems Manager


Purpose:

The Enterprise Business Systems Manager will lead efforts to optimize business systems. This position collaborates with multiple stakeholders to support, design, select, and enhance technology systems. The role manages programs for the ERP and related applications & solutions, encompassing new implementations, projects, enhancements, and support & maintenance to meet business needs. This requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership, and strategic thinking. Responsibilities include project management and business systems analysis.


Essential Functions and Position Responsibilities:

- Oversee the selection, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise systems such as ERP and CRM.

- Provide project management for implementations, including developing project plans and schedules, managing tasks, planning resources, and communicating status with stakeholders.

- Conduct vendor selection processes, evaluating potential partners for their expertise, capabilities, and fit with organizational needs.

- Manage post-go-live activities to ensure smooth transitions and user adoption, including system optimization and user training.

- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, addressing potential issues proactively.

- Negotiate contracts, review service level agreements, and monitor industry trends and emerging technologies.

- Support troubleshooting efforts for malfunctions of program bugs, hardware, software applications, and security systems to restore services.

- Facilitate liaison between IT and other departments to re-engineer business and system processes.

- Manage relationships with external service providers, consultants, and internal stakeholders.

- Lead meetings involving stakeholders, resources, senior managers, and executives.

- Inform senior management of technical issues impacting critical business systems or processes.

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ERP system functionality and industry developments.


Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, business, or related field.

- At least five years of relevant experience in IT Business Partnership, Enterprise System Leadership, or similar roles.

- Experience with ERP platforms in a life sciences manufacturing environment.

- Strong understanding of enterprise-level applications, including ERP and HRIS.

- Proven experience leading ERP system implementations.

- Skills in system selection, configuration, customization, integration, upgrades, and enhancements.

- Strong team player capable of collaborating with technical and non-technical resources.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with cross-functional teams.

- Knowledge of data security and regulatory compliance (e.g., SOX, NIST, ISO).

- Project management experience, including managing budgets and resources.

- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and directed.

- Familiarity with FDA regulation part 11.

- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, change-oriented environment.


Preferred Qualifications:

- Project Management Professional Certification (PMP).

- Experience with Fishbowl Inventory management or similar tools.

- Experience with CRM implementation and management.

- Knowledge of E-Commerce system management.

- Experience with electronic QMS systems.
