With 200 offices across North America, we combine the personalized service model of a local consultant with the global resources of the world's leading professional services firm, Marsh McLennan (NYSE: MMC).Applicants must be within driving distance to our Alpharetta, GA office to be considered for this role and have the ability to commute to the office a minimum of three days per week.A Day In The LifeAs a Business Insurance Sr. Account Associate, you will:Have intermediate to advanced knowledge of agency management systemBe actively involved with client team on client deliverables & meeting client expectationsStep in to support account team members on any/all functions as neededAssist other Senior Account Associates during high volume times as neededHave intermediate to advanced knowledge of available tools (Reference Connect, Playbook, MMA U)Provide new business and renewal support based on the following tasks:Compiles Broker of Record LettersUpdates Renewal Flow ChecklistPrepares Loss SummaryTransmits Renewal Request to Client via email or IndioGathers Renewal Information from Client and updates AMS accordinglyRuns ModMaster ReportsFollows up on Submissions with MarketsGenerates Proposal or coordinates proposal support with VendorProvide general service support based on the following tasks:AMS Data Entry: new business support, renewal support, special projectsNew Mail SupportDownload Carrier DocumentsCreate / update Certificate and Evidence of Property TemplatesFollow up with carriers for policies and endorsementsPerform second review of policy upon receipt of checklist from VendorOrder Endorsements, review upon receipt and address discrepanciesCreate / update Schedules of InsuranceFollow up with carriers for policies and endorsementsCreate Loss Policy ReleasesAddress Cancellations / ReinstatementsReview audits and address discrepanciesAccounting Tasks: Premium Allocations, Invoicing (Renewal policies, audits, endorsements), Accounts Receivable Monitoring, Check Requests, AR Adjustments, Cash on Account, Finance Agreements, Accounting DiscrepanciesOur Future ColleagueWe'd love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:1 to 2 years prior experienceAssociate degree preferredBachelor's degree a plusAdvanced Degree (RMIN, Finance, Accounting) experience a plusAdvanced Designation a plus (AAI/CISR)Ability to perform duties independently & proactivelyDeveloping, professional approach to internal & external customer serviceDeveloping effective delegation skillsStrong listening, verbal and written communication skills, customer service skillsStrong attention to detail and sense of urgency and problem-solving abilitiesStrong understanding of prioritization & organizational skillsTeam player and eager to learnReliable and punctualSupports a book of business at the direction and under guidance of the Unit Leader / Unit Manager / Client TeamNo direct carrier interaction but understands the importance of strong carrier relationshipsIntermediate to advanced application of tools & resourcesIntermediate to advanced application of Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint) and advanced proficiency in ExcelProperty Casualty Resident's License RequiredAnnual CE RequirementWe know there are excellent candidates who might not check all of these boxes.
