CornerStone Technology Talent Services (TTS) is seeking a skilled Master Data Analyst for a hybrid contract position in Irving, TX. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in Master Data, Data Governance, or Data Management.
Position Summary
Responsible for ensuring accurate, complete, consistent and compliant Master Data information. This role will perform Master Data creation and maintenance activities in all applicable systems across all business units by following established processes, requirements, and standards. This role is expected to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders from various teams, identify process gaps and inefficiencies and propose solutions in order to optimize and streamline processes.
Responsibilities:
- Data Management: Ensure accurate, complete, and compliant Master Data across all relevant systems. Perform data creation, updates, and maintenance in alignment with company standards.
- Process Adherence: Follow established data management processes and requirements. Ensure that data practices comply with organizational standards and regulations.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders from different teams. Understand their data needs and address any concerns related to Master Data.
- Process Optimization: Identify process gaps and inefficiencies. Propose and implement solutions to optimize and streamline data management processes.
- Data Quality Assurance: Monitor and ensure the quality of Master Data through regular audits and validation checks. Address any issues or discrepancies promptly.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of data processes and changes. Generate reports to track data quality and process improvements.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in a similar role.
- Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience in Master Data Management, Data Governance, or Data Management. Experience with analytical tasks is highly preferred.
- Analytical Skills: Demonstrated experience in data analysis, including interpreting complex datasets, identifying trends, and generating actionable insights.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Master Data Expertise: In-depth understanding of master data management principles, including data accuracy, consistency, and hierarchical data structures.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Effective time management and prioritization capabilities to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Problem-Solving: Advanced problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis. Ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and implement corrective actions efficiently.
- Teamwork: Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment. Capable of managing competing priorities and delivering results under limited direction.
- Professionalism: High level of professional conduct and discretion. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
Technical Proficiencies:
- Microsoft Products: Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, PowerPoint) for data analysis, reporting, and presentations.
- SAP and Vistex: Intermediate to advanced knowledge of SAP and Vistex for data management and reporting.
- Relational Databases: Intermediate to advanced understanding of relational database concepts and SQL for querying and managing data.
