Overview: We are looking for a Project Controls Analyst for our client, a leading provider of Liquified Natural Gas (LNG), supporting Engineering and Procurement (E&P) oversight of the EPC contractor. This role involves close collaboration with both organization and EPC teams to drive project activities and ensure safe, cost-effective, timely, and contractually compliant project results. The position reports to the E&P Project Controls Manager.
Responsibilities:

  • Promote a safe work culture.
  • Provide analysis for Engineering and Procurement scopes through effective communication, coordination, and follow-up with the project team to meet goals and objectives.
  • Oversee, administer, and report on contractor performance, progress, Value of Work Done, commitments, project budgets, forecasts, and actuals.
  • Engage with project management to drive project success.
  • Understand and apply industry standards.
  • Support the mitigation of project challenges through creative and innovative problem solving.
  • Contribute to effective and efficient project controls oversight.
  • Monitor and evaluate project performance, constraints, and issues, reporting to Senior and Executive Management.
  • Perform additional assignments as required.

Desired Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management, with experience in oil and gas, engineering, and construction projects.
  • 5+ years of relevant project controls experience on major capital projects (preferably in LNG liquefaction, oil and gas, or power generation).
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, work within project deadlines, and adjust priorities as needed.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated technical and analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to efficiently summarize and prioritize information.
