  • Master's or doctoral degree in nursing
  • Previous charge experience
  • Understanding of NICU quality metrics and tracking

Job Summary:

  • Directs clinical nursing practice in the NICU
  • Coordinates and assesses critical care education development and clinical competency of nursing staff
  • Consults with staff on complex neonatal critical care nursing issues
  • Oversees parent and/or primary caretaker education activities
  • Ensures implementation of a coordinated and effective discharge planning program
