Our Litigation Support Department is dedicated to providing top-tier eDiscovery and Project Management services to support our Litigation team. By leveraging advanced tools and technologies, we assist in the collection, processing, review, and Technology-Assisted Review (TAR) of client data. As the Litigation Support Project Manager, you'll oversee the entire litigation lifecycle, including eDiscovery and document review.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate and Consult: Work closely with attorneys, legal teams, and clients to establish protocols for identifying, preserving, and collecting data in litigation and regulatory matters.
  • Data Strategy Development: Help craft and implement strategies for data culling, filtering, and keyword usage to streamline materials to those most relevant.
  • Advanced Analytics: Assist in the development and application of data analytics and TAR to enhance efficiency.
  • Project Support: Manage document review projects, ensuring a smooth and effective process.
  • Data Management: Analyze and report on large data collections, providing clear metrics and insights.
  • Stay Updated: Keep abreast of case law developments in eDiscovery and litigation technology.
  • Mentorship: Support the growth and development of other Litigation Support Project Managers.
  • Database Management: Collaborate with legal teams to set up and manage eDiscovery databases for document review, analysis, and production.
  • Documentation: Maintain thorough records of electronic data collected for discovery obligations.
  • AI Integration: Assist legal teams in applying AI and sampling methodologies to reduce eDiscovery costs.
  • Training: Help train lawyers on the firm’s eDiscovery and case management platforms.
  • Trial Preparation: Support trial preparations, including the use of courtroom technologies like Trial Director.
  • Presentation Creation: Develop presentations and slide shows to effectively communicate case specifics and themes to jurors.
  • Additional Tasks: Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Certifications: ACEDS certification or the ability to obtain it within one year of hire is required.
  • Experience: At least three years of eDiscovery project management experience.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of enterprise technology used in corporate IT and email systems is preferred.
  • Litigation Technology: Proficiency in litigation technology, CAL methodologies, and TAR strategies is preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with high-quality results.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
  • Pressure Handling: Capability to perform effectively under deadlines and in high-pressure situations.
  • Judgment: Sound judgment in sensitive or stressful situations.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and resolution abilities.
  • Trial Expertise: Ability to manage trial technology (hot-seat) when needed.
