Required:

  • IT Program Manager for Cloud Migration
  • IT Program Management experience in the technical space, with direct experience leading cloud migration initiatives in a healthcare setting.
  • 8+ years of Healthcare technical system implementations or Healthcare IT program management experience with structured project management framework and software knowledge. Has broad knowledge of EMR applications, such as Epic, along with business and financial systems and integration experience.
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) required.


Essential Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Project management by providing leadership, direction and process control to a team of resources to accomplish a common goal defined by the project scope and objectives.
  • Lead a team of several PMs, contractors or consultants with like projects to successfully deliver portfolio projects.
  • Utilize project software to create tasks, determine resources, estimate hours, define dependencies and manage workload leveling.
  • Partner with operational leadership to clearly define project objectives, scope and project success metrics, in addition to organizing project resources to accomplish the defined objectives.
  • Lead meetings on project planning, operations, implementation, scheduling, project status and project evaluation.
  • Provide enterprise-level leadership, department management and IT management with project status reports, risk assessment and recommendations for prioritization of resources.
  • Facilitate the completion of project related documentation including, but not limited to: policies and procedures, technical documentation, meeting minutes and decision
  • Develop and track project budgets as well as report on budget variances.
  • Provide project planning, project management mentoring and leadership to other members of the team.
  • Assume for the timely delivery of a fully operational and stable system as well as all activities required for a clean turnover to IT and operational support.
  • Work effectively with operational managers on the allocation of resources, including prioritization of tasks and activities.
  • Experienced with change management. Understands how to drive faster adoption, higher utilization of and proficiency with the changes that impact people. Proven ability to communicate the compelling reasons for change and establish a sense of urgency.
  • Demonstrates competence as described in the leadership essentials.
  • Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Immediately reports any mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions, employee / patient / visitor injuries or accidents, or other safety issues to supervisor or Compliance Office.
  • Provides excellent service routinely in interactions with all customers, i.e. coworkers, patients, visitors, physicians, volunteers, etc.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.
