Job Title: Account Manager (Commercial Manufacturing)

Position Overview: As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing customer orders from inception to delivery. Your primary objective will be to maintain strong relationships with our clients while efficiently processing their orders. You will collaborate closely with production to ensure seamless order fulfillment and drive revenue growth through effective cross-selling strategies.

Responsibilities:

  1. Order Management: Efficiently process inbound orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness at every stage of the process.
  2. Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing updates on order status, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  3. Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and preferences to provide personalized service.
  4. Cross-Selling Strategy: Proactively identify opportunities to cross-sell additional products and services to existing clients, presenting tailored solutions to meet their evolving needs.
  5. Coordination with Internal Teams: Collaborate closely with sales, production, and logistics teams to coordinate order fulfillment and ensure on-time delivery.
  6. Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of orders, communications, and customer preferences.
  7. Problem Solving: Proactively identify potential issues in the order management process and implement solutions to optimize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  8. Continuous Improvement: Actively seek feedback from clients and internal teams to identify areas for improvement in our order management process.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in account management, customer service, or order management, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  2. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively communicate with clients and internal teams.
  4. Proficiency Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  5. Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment while also demonstrating initiative and autonomy in managing workload.
  6. Adaptability and resilience in the face of evolving priorities and deadlines.
