Position Overview: The Senior Functional Consultant will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support in the implementation, customization, and optimization of JD Edwards (JDE) Homebuilder and Construction modules. With extensive industry and JDE experience, the ideal candidate will play a key role in delivering comprehensive solutions that meet the unique needs of our clients. Additionally, the candidate should possess strong sales and procurement functionality knowledge and have demonstrated expertise in integrating JDE with Salesforce and BuildPro applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and participate in full-cycle implementations/rollouts of JDE Homebuilder and Construction modules, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline constraints.
  2. Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend tailored solutions leveraging JDE functionality.
  3. Configure, customize, and test JDE modules to align with client specifications, ensuring optimal system performance and usability.
  4. Provide training and support to client teams, enabling them to effectively utilize JDE applications and maximize operational efficiency.
  5. Serve as a subject matter expert on JDE Homebuilder and Construction modules, staying abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
  6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, earning their trust as a reliable advisor and strategic partner.
  7. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and business analysts, to deliver integrated solutions that meet client needs.
  8. Conduct system audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and recommend enhancements to optimize client systems.
  9. Collaborate with sales teams to support pre-sales activities, including product demonstrations, solution presentations, and proposal development.
  10. Provide expertise in integrating JDE with Salesforce and BuildPro applications, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability across systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 15+ years of combined industry and JDE experience, with a focus on Homebuilder and Construction modules.
  • Demonstrated expertise in sales and procurement functionality within JDE.
  • Experience leading a minimum of 3 full-cycle implementations/rollouts of JDE Homebuilder and Construction modules.
  • Proven ability to integrate JDE with Salesforce and BuildPro applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and internal teams.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results and exceeding client expectations.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client engagements (post-pandemic).
