Help Desk Specialist An independent Catholic school for young women in grades 7-12, is looking for a full-time Help Desk Specialist to join our team This hands-on role provides daily support for academic and administrative software, classroom technology, and end-user devices. You'll work closely with the Director of Technology to keep our systems running smoothly - from network servers and Wi-Fi to laptops and smartboards. If you're a natural problem-solver who enjoys helping others, thrives in a collaborative environment, and takes pride in delivering great customer service, we'd love to hear from you What You'll Do Provide friendly, timely Helpdesk support for hardware, software, classroom tech, and digital signage. Lead or assist with technology training and professional development for teachers, staff, and students. Keep our internal tech documentation up to date - think how-to guides, quick tips, and tutorials. Partner with the technology team to bring Ursuline's tech plan and initiatives to life. Research and suggest new technologies that can enhance teaching, learning, and operations. Support our network systems, including VOIP, Wi-Fi, and device monitoring tools. Help maintain campus security devices and related applications. Provide audio/visual setup and support for school events - occasionally during evenings or weekends. What We're Looking For You Have: A bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience). At least three years of experience providing tech support in a school or professional setting. Strong skills with: Google Workspace for Education Plus, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Cloud Student Information Systems and educational software Windows, macOS, and iOS Laptops, desktops, iPads, interactive displays, and video conferencing systems Experience maintaining and troubleshooting network systems. A customer-first mindset and great communication skills. The ability to pass a background check. Bonus Points For: Experience in an independent school or higher education environment. Audio/Visual support experience. Google IT Support or ISTE Certification. Pay Range: $24-$28 per hour, depending on experience.
