Pay Range:$36.80/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating detailed drawings, plans, and layouts based on specifications provided by engineers, architects, or designers.
- Collaborating with engineers, architects, and other professionals to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Incorporating design changes and modifications into existing drawings.
- Ensuring that drawings comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Reviewing and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and sketches.
- Creating 2D and 3D models of structures, components, and systems.
- Performing calculations and measurements to ensure accuracy of drawings.
- Organizing and maintaining drawing files and documentation.
- Communicating and coordinating with project team members to ensure timely completion of drawings.
- Providing support during the construction or manufacturing process by clarifying drawings and providing additional information as needed.
- CAD Drafters should have a strong understanding of drafting principles and practices, as well as proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
- They should have excellent attention to detail and be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Key Skills:CAD/ GIS Experience MicroStation experience is a MUST 4-5 yrs+, Utility, gas/distribution exp A MUST
- CAD/ GIS Experience
- Electric distribution background a plus
- Must have reliable transportation and phone
- MicroStation experience is a MUST
- 4-5 yrs+, Utility, gas/distribution exp A MUST,
- CAD exp 4-5 yrs+
- 2 year technical degree or equivalent certification (minimum).
