We are looking to hire a Construction Surveillance Technician to join our team in Fort Meade, MD. This position reports directly to the program manager./ppThe Construction Surveillance Technician (CST) will be responsible for the following:/pulliProvide basic physical security in accordance with Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF) policies and Intelligence Community Standard (ICS) 705-1, -Physical and Technical Standards for Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities)./liliConduct surveillance and understand the construction trades to closely monitor all construction activities and materials to ensure the security integrity of the building./liliInspect, detect and report any unauthorized technical penetrations and thwart implanted clandestine technical collection devices./liliWork closely with the assigned Government Site Security Manager (SSM) to ensure all established security policies and procedures are followed./liliSupplement site security access controls implement screening and inspection procedures and monitor uncleared construction personnel in accordance with the Construction Security Plan (CSP)./liliConduct inspections of Protected Distribution System (PDS) and report any anomalies to the SSM./liliOther duties as assigned./li/ulpQualifications:/pulliMinimum High School diploma or GED required./liliMust be a U.S. citizen./liliMust read, speak and understand English language fluently and possess the ability to complete written reports and forms./liliProvide excellent customer service skills./liliMinimum of three years- experience in the construction industry with knowledge of two or more of the following disciplines:/liulliCarpentry (rough-in, finish)/liliElectricity/liliPlumbing/liliHVAC/liliSheet Metal/liliWelding/liliDry Wall/liliMasonry/li/ul/ulpClearance: Must possess an active Top-Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and polygraph; TS/SCI with polygraph./ppPhysical Requirements: The Construction Surveillance Technician must have the ability to:/pulliAbility to stand/sit and walk for long periods of time./liliStand for 8 hours or longer./liliMust be able to work in inclement weather conditions including extreme heat, extreme cold, humidity and various other adverse weather conditions for extended periods of time./liliThis position may require lifting (up to 20 lbs.), standing, walking, siting, and bending throughout the workday./liliNeed to be able to walk across uneven surfaces of a construction site, climb ladders, and able to frequently go up and down stairs./li/ulpPay Range: The hourly pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the PGIs salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidates experience, qualifications, skills, competencies, clearance level, and proficiency for the role. The pay range for this position is $33.00 to $38.50 per hour.
