We’re partnering with a leading security and surveillance solutions provider that’s seeking a skilled Residential/Small Business Installation Technician to join their team. These roles are essential to managing the high volume of Security & CCTV projects, helping balance the workload for the permanent technicians.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluating Premises: The installer assesses the client’s location to determine the optimal placement of CCTV cameras.
  • Installation: Install complete CCTV systems, including cameras, wiring, software, and other necessary equipment.
  • Maintenance and Repairs: The installer maintains, services, and repairs installed CCTV systems as needed.
  • Configuration: Will configure and program DVRs (Digital Video Recorders) and NVRs (Network Video Recorders).
  • Client Training: Providing instructions and demonstrations to clients on how to use the CCTV system.
  • Inspections and Testing: Inspecting and testing the system to ensure optimal operation.
  • Documentation: Recording and maintaining installation paperwork and documents for future reference
  • Ensure compliance with safety and security regulations.
  • Ability to accomplish various tasks and work independently.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred.
  • Experience with CCTV systems and related installations.
  • Proficiency with security systems parameters, cabling, and networking.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.


Contract Type: 6-month contract-to-hire

Pay Rate: $25-30 per hour


Must Have:

  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to pass a background check & drug test
  • Reliable personal vehicle (own/lease)
