Forklift OperatorWe are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator with experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficient loading and unloading of kegs, utilizing stand-up forklifts, RF scanners, and WMS/SAP systems. This role involves ensuring accurate material location in a refrigerated stockroom and preparing packages for shipping.Responsibilities:Assist in unloading and loading of kegs when trucks arrive.Utilize stand-up forklifts for material handling.Operate RF Scanner and maintain knowledge of WMS/SAP systems.Receive bin numbers and accurately locate beer pallets in the refrigerated area.Load and unload shipping trucks.Prepare packages for shipping.Maintain a clean and organized warehouse during downtime.Essential Skills:Experience with stand-up forklifts.Proficiency in using RF scanners.Knowledge of WMS/SAP systems.Ability to lift cases up to 35 lbs and maneuver kegs up to 170 lbs.Basic computer skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Must be at least 21 years old to work onsite.Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience.Previous experience in the food and beverage industry is preferred.Forklift experience preferred (certification available on site).Why Work Here?Join a dynamic team with ample room for growth in a beautiful facility resulting from a merger. The position offers 1st shift hours from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, 2nd shift hours from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and 3rd shift hours from 11:30 PM to 7:00 AM, Sunday through Thursday. The location is in a brewery in RVA and at Sauers in Richmond, VA.Job Type & Location:This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sandston, VA.Pay and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
