Job Summary: Our San Jose, California Logistics facility is seeking a meticulous Inventory Clerk to manage and maintain the accuracy of our warehouse stock. This role is central to ensuring efficient operations by keeping precise records of inventory levels, locations, and movements. If you have a strong aptitude for organization and attention to detail, we want you on our team.Responsibilities: Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to verify stock accuracy. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes. Update inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS) accurately and promptly. Monitor inventory levels and report low stock or excess quantities to management. Assist with receiving and put-away processes to ensure proper inventory placement. Track and manage the movement of goods within the warehouse. Organize and maintain inventory storage areas for efficiency and accessibility. Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations and procedures related to inventory handling. Wear required PPE, such as safety vests, when working in the warehouse. Qualifications: Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar inventory control role is highly preferred. 3Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting (up to 30 lbs), standing, and walking for extended periods. Good organizational and record-keeping skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Understanding of basic Logistics principles is beneficial. Commitment to upholding Safety standards.
