Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Clerk to join our growing logistics team in San Antonio, Texas. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. Your key duties will include conducting regular cycle counts, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against records, investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies, and maintaining up-to-date inventory data in our system. You will play a vital part in ensuring that our logistics operations run smoothly by providing accurate stock information. This position requires a strong understanding of inventory management principles and meticulous attention to detail. We are committed to a safe working environment, and all employees are expected to adhere to safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE and safe lifting practices, as needed. The role involves some physical activity, including occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds, walking, and standing for extended periods. You will collaborate with warehouse staff and management to improve inventory accuracy and operational efficiency. Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing inventory. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly. Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS. Generate inventory reports as required. Assist with receiving and put-away processes. Ensure proper organization and storage of inventory. Follow all safety procedures, including PPE usage. Adhere to safe lifting practices. Collaborate with team members to improve inventory control. We are looking for a reliable individual with excellent organizational and analytical skills, a strong commitment to accuracy, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented logistics environment. Previous experience in inventory control or warehouse operations is highly valued.
