In conjunction with other clinicians, the Medical Assistant contributes to products and services that relate to the delivery of efficient virtual care to Teladoc Health members.An active Medical Assistant license/certification is required for this role.ResponsibilitiesAdministrative Duties include:Reviewing intake records for completenessTransfer information to Electronic Health Record (EHR)Scheduling appointmentsAssessing video readinessCommunication with other health care team membersCommunication with membersMaintain health information in compliance with corporate and federal regulationsOthers duties as assignedClinical Duties include:Taking full history including medicationsDocumenting biometric screeningsIdentify preventative measures neededEHR chart preparation prior to visitAssist nursing staff in preparing care plansOther duties as assignedPreferred QualificationsCustomer service experience requiredEHR experience preferredVideo conferencing experience preferredProficient computer skills, specifically with Microsoft softwareStrong time management skillsAbility to effectively manage multiple, competing prioritiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a high performing teamAbility to thrive in fast-paced work environment in a growing company2+ years of college preferredLPN/LVN, Nursing Student training helpfulQualifications Required for Position An active Medical Assistant Certification is REQUIREDHigh school diploma required4+ years Medical Assistant Experience requiredThe base salary range for this position is $20/hr - $22/hr.In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here:Teladoc Health Benefits 2025.Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications.This information is applicable for all full-time positions.Teladoc Health will not sponsor or transfer employment work visas for this position.
