Pain Management Physician - Alliance, Ohio Aultman Health System About the Opportunity Aultman Health System is seeking a motivated and fellowship-trained Pain Management Physician to join our multidisciplinary interventional pain management team at Aultman Alliance Community Hospital. We are committed to providing relief and improving quality of life for patients with acute and chronic pain through interventional procedures, medication management, and a holistic approach. Our supportive environment includes physician-focused management and advanced practice provider (APP) support, allowing physicians to focus on interventional care while mid-level providers assist with chronic case follow-up. Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive pain management services: assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Perform interventional procedures, including: Spinal cord stimulation, intrathecal pain pump implantation Nerve blocks, joint injections, epidurals, trigger point injections, facet injections, and radiofrequency ablations Percutaneous disc decompression, vertebroplasty, kyphoplasty, and MILD procedures Prescribe and manage medications responsibly, ensuring compliance and patient safety. Educate patients and families on treatment options and long-term care plans. Collaborate with APPs, nurses, and support staff. Contribute to program growth through high-quality care and community presence. Requirements MD or DO from an accredited medical school Fellowship-trained in Pain Medicine (required) Board Certified/Eligible in Pain Medicine (Anesthesiology, Neurology, or PM&R if pain boarded) Eligible for Ohio medical license BLS and ACLS certified Strong clinical, teamwork, and communication skills New fellows and recent graduates are encouraged to apply Schedule & Work Environment Flexible Scheduling within normal hours of operation Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Average Volume - 25 to 35 patients/day Support Staff - Experienced Nurse practitioners and full administrative support Work Week - Balanced with procedural and clinic days; no hospital call Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary + bonus potential Comprehensive benefits package, including: Medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage HSA & FSA options 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer contribution Malpractice coverage with paid tail CME allowance, licensure and DEA fees covered Paid time off, wellness programs, disability and life insurance About Aultman Health System Aultman Health System is a nonprofit healthcare organization serving Stark and surrounding counties.
